Places of worship are not spared during war. This was a mosque before the war erupted.

The hole you see in the ground used to be filled with water. The water was used by the devotees to clean themselves before praying.

The people of this village came back only 4 years ago and have been building up their lives. The war displaced so many people. The houses here all tell a story of the war

All the students were so friendly. They came up to us,shaking our hands and talking to us.

All of us were really enjoying ourselves. The students were just so friendly. Actually everyone in Sri Lanka is very friendly

It was time to say our goodbyes. The students followed us to our bus and stayed there till our bus left.
Back at Chen Su Lan, our computer lab was making progress. The gate which could not close properly was fixed and the solid wall was up.
